A simple static site is not always the best route. We don't have to go crazy with it either. Maybe a simple Flash header is all that's needed to give your site the edge you want.

Flash can often slow a site down to a crawl. It's sometimes misused and can hinder a site's navigation and overall functionality. The designer must know what he's doing in order to create an end product that truly serves the site well.
